What have you done in Season 3 to help Orange DAO and its members? (300 words max.)
As part of the Governance committee:
- I dealt with a messy seasonal transition and letting go of a number of paid contributors. This led to us rethinking the process of contributor accountability and the introduction of the accountability framework (to be released in the end of the season);
- I have prepared an election process and am currently managing it together with the Treasury team;
- So far this season I have contributed to every proposal and the majority of initiatives/projects within the DAO.
As part of the Governance / Founder Success combined effort:
- I have managed new member onboarding end to end;
- I created the new member onboarding flow and collateral;
- I have set up new process for charter signing and currently working on its integration into our existing products and processes (Passport/Grove etc.);
- I have held over 30 feedback sessions with members - that’s one every 2-3 days this season!
As part of the Founder Success team:
- I have been driving and exploring Member Benefits solutions like Orange Treasury Management to make Orange DAO the best private members club for builders in web3;
- I am an Orange Buddy for two startups in the current Fellowship batch;
- I am also an Orange Buddy for a number of other portcos.
As an Ecosystems team member:
- I have helped drive forward and explore some of the potential partnerships (Aleo / Filecoin)
- I was also very privileged to represent Orange DAO at ETHCC!
As a Dealflow team member:
- I participated in a large number of reviews for the current batch of fellowship
- I have been one of the top reviewers for the $100K investment deal (by number of calls/screens)
What would you like to do in Season 4 to help Orange DAO and its members as part of the position you are applying for? (300 words max.)
Two things!
- MAKE THINGS EVEN JUICIER!
- Drive new ideas on making the DAO the best members club and builders DAO for founders in web3;
- Finish what I have started this season and build an amazing member onboarding process;
- Create a suite of exciting members benefits that will drive value to the members and to the DAO.
- Continue contributing to Founder Success, Deal Flow, Ecosystems and Fellowship teams, as required by them.
- Make sure our Oranges are in order:
- Streamline documentation, proposal and voting processes. Continue learning best governance practices and implementing them at Orange DAO;
- Set the DAO for success in the future bull market by iterating and finding an optimal structure for its operations based on member feedback;
- Continue building a culture of competition, transparency and positivity for the DAO through new proposals and initiatives (i.e. Accountability, Orange Diplomatic Network etc.);
- Make sure old and new members are happy, heard by the DAO and involved with us through ongoing feedback sessions and member/portco support.
- And generally, support new and existing teams with a Governance process that works!
What makes you the best candidate for the chosen position? (300 words max.)
As a current Governance Committee member I am making a conscious effort to contribute to a number of different teams across the DAO including, Deal Flow, Founder Success, Ecosystems and, of course, Governance in order to be exposed to a wide variety of initiatives and teams.
I believe that my skills, knowledge of Orange DAO (and Web3 in general), as well as the experience of being on the Governance Committee in Season 3 makes me uniquely positioned to excel in the Governance Operations position.
If I am elected, I will not only work on required responsibilities as described in the JD, but will scale the ones I have been successfully doing in S3! Imagine getting two Ferraris for the price of one! Good deal, huh?
