OIP-39: Orange DAO Podcast

Goal: [Primary] Externally: Position OrangeDAO as a thought leader in web3; builds loyalty by bringing others along our journey and storytelling about the humans behind OrangeDAO

[Secondary] Internally: Provides the most powerful way for OrangeDAO members to learn about each other and the exciting happenings in the DAO through storytelling

Description: Bi-weekly podcast series with Sarina and Ryan as hosts interviewing one guest per episode. 80% guests from within OrangeDAO, 20% external.

Benefits: Huge exposure for the OrangeDAO, engaging format, brand-building.

Success Metrics: KPIs before proposal: 0 OrangeDAO podcasts created KPIs after proposal: 5 OrangeDAO podcasts created with feedback/learnings recorded after each and iterating before the next “Style guide” created for content/format of podcasts going forward 100 unique listeners per episode for episodes 3, 4, and 5 (will know more on reasonable KPIs for shares etc. after we get this baseline) Success Confidence: (If this proposal was executed 100 times, how many times will it meet its goal?) 90 – about as close to 100 confidence as possible that we will create these 5 episodes

Responsibilities:

CO-HOSTS TEAM LEADS (Sarina and Ryan): interviewee research/prep, recording actual interview, editing/publishing, iterating content/format strategy for next episode

OPS/BACK-OFFICE TEAM LEAD (James):

• Overall project management (Kanban of overall project and episode piepline/status, shipping episodes on time, publishing)
• Managing Podcast inbox/ outreach
• Sourcing speakers
• T-ing up some episode pre-research (eg why is this person interesting)
• Marketing
• coordinating design, pushing to social media -Partnership building
• ++ getting my hands dirty where needed -(Backup host)

SUPPORT TEAM (Aakash): Help with the actual tools (editing, publishing) like descript and Canva since he has published his own podcast before
