OIP-014: Gem Contributor Reward Pool

Goal: Provide 250,000 $ORANGE to gem contributors for developing the gem. And allocate 750,000 $ORANGE for meeting KPIs.

Vision: Develop an on-chain verification for YC Founders/OrangeDAO members. This will become the passport for members to join other DAOs, engage with projects from OrangeDAO members, and have exclusive access to projects on web3 that want our members as investors, supporters, mentors, collaborators, and/or partners.

Our gem becomes the key way for external projects to engage our members and also a way for members to gate their projects to other gem holders. It’s now shown that engaging with trusted parties first to launch a network before rolling out to the broader ecosystem creates more stability and allows for projects to better iterate without worrying about getting rekt on their alpha.

Lastly, given the power of OrangeDAO our Gem provides a critical advantage to our key external members to negotiate large grants with different L1/L2 networks as our Gem serves as a prominent example of getting things done fast. Additionally, the Gem provides the first on-ramp onto a network + name recognition, lastly those projects can claim YC founders/OrangeDAO members are using their project which makes their token juicier.

Pitch to external DAOs to enable Gem auth: We have 1000 YC founders part of OrangeDAO that are both looking to work on web3 projects to onboard as developers and engage teams on high growth projects.

In our discord, we have current and former YC partners, YC employees, and YC investors. Additionally, OrangeDAO is working on LFG game to invest deeply into web3 projects so as teams form around projects they can jump into our shared channel to promote their projects. Basically, more OrangeDAO members as part of and vice versa will lead to mutually better outcomes in terms of more funding, more partnerships, and more developers exposed to each others' projects.

This move is highly marketable making more valuable to your existing and new hodlers.
