OIP-24: Orange Web3 Talk Series (Bookface Marketing)

Goal: Activate more of the 1000+ members who have joined OrangeDAO but are not yet participating. (and obviously, recruit more new members! and get leads for OrangeFund)

Get more crypto experts in the DAO to share more about what they learn, and earn $ORANGE in the process.

Description: Weekly programming to explore an area of web3. Will be shared on Bookface. At every event, we’ll market 3 key things about OrangeDAO

• Join OrangeDAO
• Join OrangeDAO Newsletter (To learn more about what the DAO does)
• The DAO has a job board, and you can earn $ORANGE to do mini projects!
• Remind people about voting in the DAO on open proposals

We will also position OrangeDao as the best way to onboard founders onto web3, and get support to start a web3 company.

Held on zoom at the same time each week and marketed to all YC founders, not just those in the discord.

• Will use Bookface posts.
• We’ll be sending personalized email to founders in recent batches as well.
• We’ll record the talks and post on youtube in order to activate those that can’t make it live

Benefits: In order for Orange DAO to thrive, we need more active members and we need more successful web3 companies.

• More activated members.
• More builders funneled to the DAO
• More founders converting to web3
• More leads for OrangeFund

We see this as a pilot. We want to scale this to all of web3, not just YC Alum (drawing more attn. To OrangeDAO in the future)

Next Steps: Get a list of folks from the Orange DAO that would be interested in being a speaker, and available to commit to a calendar schedule of events.
