OIP-29: Compensation for help with OIP-2 and OIP-10

Goal: Compensation for helping execute OIP-2 and OIP-10.

Description: This is a proposal to send 7,000 tokens to Orange DAO members mrmemes.eth (5,000 tokens) and maqq (2,000 tokens) for executing OIP-2.

OIP-2 required determining early contributors, measured by number of messages sent pre 11/1 and to manage the 1M token distribution to all of those contributors.

The management and execution of this proposal was time consuming. On the tech side, the Discord API had unforeseen complexities which turned this into a long task On the non-tech side, there was coordination among recipients, pursuing dev help and QA.

Mr. Memes build a library for this and future proposals that require querying Discord chat history for message counts scoped to a given channel and/or across a date range. We will use this for executing OIP-2, OIP-10 and will come in handy for more projects in the future that need to pull Discord message data. I appreciated Mr. Meme’s willingness to help me (maqq) execute OIP-002. He wasn’t offered and didn’t expect compensation for helping. It’s important for me that he’s treated right for being a selfless contributor.

Benefits: In order for Orange DAO to thrive, we need to encourage contributions of all sizes and to compensate our contributors.

This proposal proves we’re interested in compensating each other for contributing in one-off, small projects.
