Extend timeline for OGV to OGN migration

Summary

This proposal is to extend the time window that holders have to migrate their OGV tokens to OGN tokens.

Context

Following a governance proposal in 2024, OGN and OGV were merged. As part of this merger, OGV holders were given the opportunity to migrate their OGV tokens to OGN at a rate of 1 unit of OGV to 0.09137 OGN through a migration portal in our dapp.

The initial proposal was to support migration for 1 year. The token migration smart contract guaranteed that OGV holders had up to a year to migrate to OGN, but without a new contract deployment, it doesn’t prevent remaining OGV holders from migrating.

Recommendation

Instead of taking resources to make changes to the smart contract and remove the migration portal from our dapp, I recommend doing nothing for now and leaving it open.

Rather than spend our resources to penalize the few long-term holders who have not yet migrated, we should focus the team’s effort on building products that generate protocol revenue.

This is also in line with multiple requests we've heard from the Origin community to extend the deadline.

Voting Options

This proposal has two options:

1. “For” extending the timeline. If this receives more votes, the timeline would be extended until another proposal is raised to close the migration window. The migration portal will remain in the Origin dapp.
2. Against extending the timeline. If this receives more votes, migration portal would be removed from the Origin Dapp and smart contract work would begin to close the migration window.
