Summary:
This proposal aims to establish a program for university blockchain clubs and affiliated DAOs to be delegated OGV for the purpose of participating in OUSD governance, supporting Origin proposals across other DAOs, and building relationships with the young minds of the web3 space.
Desired outcome:
Approach:
Initial target schools that have been delegated voting power include: Columbia, UChicago, LBS, Penn, Cal, UCLA, and University of Michigan. These seven schools will be invited to participate in the University Governance Program, though more are welcome to apply by reaching out to peter@originprotocol.com.
The current voting power and voting activity for each of these schools can be seen here:

Delegation Amount:
For each organization participating, we will vote lock 10M OGV for the maximum 4 years and delegate voting power to the wallet of their choice.
Expectations:
Each participating club is expected to participate in regular governance votes. We will be hosting regular check in calls with the organizations to discuss the active proposals and make sure everyone has the information they need to be making good decisions.
Cost
Costs for this program are minimal at launch, with the largest cost being the gas fees to set up the new wallets and to delegate the tokens to each of the clubs.
Potential future benefits for the participating clubs include:
