Proposal: Update supply cap

As the majority of the community knows, Paçoca will be reaching max supply soon. As most vaults require token emissions to function, the team proposes removing the supply cap.

It's essential to understand that Paçoca has grown from what was initially decided when the project began. With the implementation of Sweet Vaults, the platform has reached an astounding $1million in monthly buybacks. Sweet Vaults require token emissions to continue operating.

Isn't raising the supply cap bad?

Unlike other DeFi platforms, users can only farm PACOCA tokens by buying them (even if indirectly using sweet vaults). If users are earning tokens, they are believers and backers in the protocol and thus incentivized to support Paçoca.

What will this look like?

A regular day at Paçoca. Ultimately, raising the supply cap will let the project go on as it has. Paçoca has made many strides this year, and Paçoca users have enjoyed the benefits of being able to stake and use Sweet Vaults. Raising the supply cap will mean everything can continue operating and give Paçoca more time to grow. This doesn't have to be a permanent solution and can always be discussed, raising a vote in the future if a better solution presents itself.

How paçoca inflation is different from central banks

When people look at currencies with no supply cap such as fiat, they are often afraid of inflation. Paçoca has already taken many measures to be a deflationary coin with in-burn mechanisms built into vaults and manual burns happening. Additionally, when fresh PACOCAs are minted, they go straight to their stakers, unlike traditional finance with printed fiat.

The team proposes the following options

➡️ 1) Remove supply cap Sweet vaults will continue to work just as they always have, and PACOCA emissions will continue until a new proposal affects it.

➡️ 2) Layered farming Another token is created, and we migrate Paçoca and the platform to utilize a new token.

➡️ 3) Keep supply cap Rollback Paçoca to being a portfolio tracker with auto compounding vaults without extra rewards and buybacks (no sweet vaults).
