The current sentiment in the community is that IFOs are inaccessible to users with small amounts of funds. The latest IFO has surpassed its target over 700x.
We propose that a limit be implemented on how much a wallet can contribute to IFOs. The limit should be based on the amount of time a wallet has staked CAKE or CAKE-BNB LP on PancakeSwap. We encourage the dev team to use a multiplier based on the staking time (in months) of assets mentioned above to determine the limit. This proposal leaves the exact calculations up to the developers to be determined.
This would make huge contributions unlikely and reward the community without having to mint more CAKE for airdrops. This also gives more incentive to stake CAKE.
Example Implementation: A wallet with no staked assets on PancakeSwap ever can only contribute 15 CAKE-BNB LP to the IFO. A wallet that has staked 100 to 1000 CAKE in Syrup Pool for 1.5 months can contribute up to 1.515 CAKE-BNB LP. Another wallet that has staked 1001 to 10000 CAKE in Syrup Pool for 1.5 months can contribute up to 21.5*15 CAKE-BNB LP. The devs can decide on the exact implementation/numbers.
