Proposal for Lottery Changes + Emission Reduction

A lot has happened in the past few weeks, including for the PancakeSwap Lottery. The 100k CAKE injection every 2 days brought us one lottery pot with over $1M USD in prizes! While the market’s been great, it’s made the lottery insanely expensive: tickets reached around $80 per ticket at the peak!

With that in mind, we’re proposing a few changes:

1. Reduce the cost of a lottery ticket from 10 CAKE to 1 CAKE
2. Reduce the injection from 100k CAKE every 2 days to 20k CAKE every 2 days
3. Divert the remaining CAKE from the injection to a new initiative and a steadier and more predictable burn
4. Add a new share of the prize winnings for tickets that match 1 number:

• 50%: matching 4 numbers
• 20%: matching 3 numbers
• 10%: matching 2 numbers
• 5%: matching 1 number
• 15%: Burn
