This vote proposes to enshrine the following community values as the organizing principles for the Panda Paradise DAO.

If, at the end of the voting period, all articles have at least two-thirds approval, the Community Values as a whole will be considered passed, effective immediately and be adopted into official documentation.

If at least one article has less than two-thirds approval at the end of the voting period, only the articles with at least two-thirds approval will be considered passed, and amendment and ratification of the remaining articles, and any new articles, becomes the responsibility of the Panda Paradise community. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

1. Fellowship

The first pillar of our DAO is the communal value of Fellowship. Building a neighborly atmosphere that welcomes newcomers in the spirit of friendship is one of our foundational goals. We strive to be an community-owned business others wish to emulate not only for the strength of our efficiency, but by the durability of our relationships with each other. Our community is a guild.

2. Integrity

The nature of DAOs is community-ownership and governance. Building in the open is an industry standard, and we wish to take advantage of this energy wherever possible and reasonable. This requires trust, the most valuable resource in Web3 and in the world of business in general. There is no trust without integrity. To us, integrity means: promises kept, ethical standards adhered to, and communication based in honesty and mutual respect.

3. Cultivation

Bamboo is a core symbol and fuel for any Panda-related story. So it goes that the act of nurturing and supporting growth is a defining root in our community identity. Our cultivation goals:

1. Foster development of our members as individuals,
2. Elevate the sustainability of local and adjacent communities, and
3. Promote the conservation of global resources and ecosystems.

We aim to build bridges and networks both within and across.

4. Excellence

Rarely would an organization want to go without such a key ingredient such as high standards for quality! From our artwork, the security of our smart contracts, our sonic identity, our on-boarding process: we strive to make beautiful, secure, and enjoyable experiences. We encourage questions that help us clarify our vision and build documentation to circulate our community knowledge. Empowering others to reach towards the best version of themselves is a powerful motivator for us.

5. Gratitude

In wrapping up and reigniting the virtuous cycle, we have the timeless virtue of appreciation itself. Our "Panda Fam" culture is one where we wish to share in the successes and merriment of our lives with each other. Lifting each other in appreciation or celebration of victories, large or small, is something we never wish to neglect. In a world where communities are often being separated, we wish to bring people together and support them. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Next Steps

This proposal will be open for voting on Snapshot for eight days. The voting system used will be Approval Voting. Each of the 5 articles will independently require at least 2/3 (66.6%) approval from at least 5% of the total Panda supply to pass.

By voting in favor of each article, you are expressing approval for cementing each value as a core pillar of the Panda Paradise DAO. These will guide and become the standards of behavior that we expect from our community members, contributors, and partners.
