PGP-32 | Parallel Snapshot Subscription

Summary: This proposal aims to pay the subscription for Snapshot, the Parallel DAO voting platform.

Rationale: Snapshot, the platform that Parallel has been using since its launch, recently introduced a mandatory subscription called ‘Snapshot Pro’ for Space owners using ‘premium networks’ (full list available here). Ethereum, Base, Polygon PoS, and Sonic; the networks that Parallel uses are all premium networks. Failure to pay the subscription fee will prevent any future proposals from being posted for voting by sPRL holders. The subscription fee must be paid by August 15th.

Snapshot Pro includes:

• Enhanced visibility: Increase your space's ranking to reach a larger audience.
• Delegates dashboard: Clearly display all delegates, sorted by voting power with profiles.
• Discussions: Support for Discourse discussions directly within the interface. Custom domain: Personalize your space with your own domain, colors, and logo. (eg. vote.parallel.best)
• Proposal monitoring: Rapid detection and review of spam or malicious proposals within 2 hours.
• Support non-premium network: Choose between premium or standard networks for your strategies.
• Priority support: Private Telegram group providing dedicated help within 4 hours or less. Early access to new features: Exclusive preview and early use of upcoming features and improvements.

There are two subscription options: (available here)

• Monthly subscription: $600/month (or $7,200/year)
• Yearly subscription: $500/month (or $6,000/year)

We propose to pay the yearly subscription for 1 year, for a total cost of $6,000.

Means:

• Human Resources: DAO Multisig signers will have to execute the subscription payment transaction.
• Treasury Resources: $6,000 in USDC on Ethereum.

Technical implementation: There is no technical implementation regarding the work related to this proposal.
