Community Wallet Meetup Budget 2023

One of the biggest goals for this year is to organize community meetups around PD events. We strongly believe that organizing community meetups gives our community the opportunity to connect, meet, spread the word about PD's and have unique experiences together. Getting to know each other can bring so many opportunities, will grow our fam and bring more people into the community! Party together will be a lot more fun too when we already met before!

We are proposing to approve a budget for the community wallet to spend on IRL meetups in 2023. As mentioned we are aiming to organize meetups around official PD events as many of you will go there anyway! We might also organize another meetup on its own. We will still always be transparent and of course always try to negotiate the best deals for our fam. We also believe that its fair to have a budget for these events, as people are already paying for transport/hotels etc to get to the events. This will bring a lot extra utility to our degen fam by getting access to unique experiences during community meetups and connect with your fellow degens.

For the first 6 months of 2023 we are planning meetups in: Paris (Feb), New York (April), Ibiza (April, if PD's are having an event at IMS again). We will organize more meetups/events in the second half of 2023 when we have more information about events in those months.

We are proposing to have a budget of $20k for community meetups in 2023. This doesn't mean we will spend it all, but it means that we won't have to vote every time for the costs of a community meet up. As said before, we will always try our best to make deals/collabs/negotiate best deals to spend the minimum possible and still deliver a cool meetup event! This will always be transparent.
