Council Candidates

As mentioned in the #community-wallet channel in Discord, due to valid arguments on both sides, the team decided to take the middle ground and set the initial compensation to 750USDC for each council member (3 in total) for the first 3 months. The community will be able to change this later if it is considered necessary. The rotation mechanics will also be decided by the community within the next weeks.

Therefore, I am very motivated to grow the community wallet into something we call all be proud of and that truly represents just how awesome this community is. I see many opportunities and initiatives that we can act on, and I am eager to help. I have gained a lot of experience during my time in Web3 so far. Also, I helped build and currently run our property investment company, which I think will be integral for getting the community wallet initiatives started. I can contribute to the committee with my hands-on mentality, organizational skills, and genuine drive and passion to bring this wallet to life to provide even more value for our community. I will bring many new and creative ideas that aim to continually improve members' experiences in the PD fam. I am available to execute this role for a minimum of 6 months and would happily stay on for a longer period if the community finds that to be beneficial.

Skills: Leadership / Stakeholder management / Communication / Project Management / Product Owner / UX / Workshop Facilitation / Trello, Miro, Adobe suite / Based on my work and personal experience, working in the fashion world in digital for over 15 years and also as a creative, I can offer the PD community a wealth of experience in managing projects and communication. A hot topic for me would be merchandising and keep the brand on track and cool af. I would like to bring in some consistency to our merch and ensure that we all look dope and represent the brand in the way it deserves. It would be great to vote on designs and products and create them together. I am very passionate about the PD project and future and I am a true party degenerate at my core. It’s amazing to be a part of this community and I want to do everything that I can to support and help it succeed. I’m super organised and have been delivering some huge projects for Ivy Park, Pharrell Williams and many more collabs at adidas. Customer experience is another area that is important to me, both professionally and personally, which will also enable me to help execute the best possible user experience for the consumer. I am also able to host workshops (virtual and IRL) for ideation, problems solving and direction. I can then take this information and create a road map and Trello board with topics to work on. I can help to keep focus and also update stakeholders on progress and next steps. Finally, I founded a club night at uni and helped to promote it. I also created my own sneaker brand, designing all the branding, building the website, setting up accounts and buying products and shipping.
