My name is Nawa, and I’ve been with this project since the very beginning. I led the migration from Grumpy → Pawthereum, guided its most crucial moments, and carried responsibility whenever the project’s survival was on the line.
We survived one of the toughest bear markets while countless projects disappeared. That resilience is our foundation. Now it’s time to turn survival into momentum, execute the original vision, and start winning again — together.
I want to be clear: I haven’t always been as active in the past months and years as I wanted to be. Life circumstances and setbacks pulled me away at times. But whenever Pawthereum faced a truly crucial moment — moments where the project’s very survival was at stake — I stepped back in and carried the responsibility to keep it alive.
That’s why I believe it’s important to share both my track record and a plan for leadership + fair compensation going forward.
Pawthereum is not a DAO. Not yet. We’ve always valued community input and votes, but true decentralization requires more than sentiment — it requires governance that’s fair, resistant to manipulation, and backed by clear accountability.
Right now, there’s a gap: we appear “community-driven,” but in practice decision-making has been ad-hoc, with weak voting safeguards. That gap creates confusion and risk.
🔍 What we found
A recent on-chain review of voting behavior revealed serious issues in our governance process. These are detailed in our Transparency Report (wallet addresses, dates, analysis).
⚠️ The effect: outcomes that look democratic but can be steered by a handful of players, leaving the wider community second-guessing what’s real.
✨ Transparency First
To make Pawthereum strong again, we must return to the principle that made it meaningful in the first place: transparency.
Transparency has always been the core value of this project — and it’s even more critical in charitable initiatives, where trust is everything. People must see, clearly and without question, where value flows and how decisions are made. That’s exactly what blockchain was designed to do: provide an open ledger that never lies.
If we don’t protect this value, we risk losing the trust that makes Pawthereum different from every other token. If we embrace it fully, we can rebuild confidence, re-energize the community, and deliver on our mission with credibility.
The long-term vision of Pawthereum has always been decentralization. But decentralization without structure isn’t empowerment — it’s chaos. If the voting system can be manipulated, then what looks like democracy is actually distortion.
For Pawthereum to evolve into a true DAO, we must first fix the foundation. My leadership mandate is not about holding onto control, but about creating the conditions where authority, accountability, and decentralization can actually work.
📌 The goal is simple: centralized responsibility now, to make true decentralization possible in the future — while delivering measurable progress in the short term.

1️⃣ Leadership Mandate
I propose to return as leader of Pawthereum with full decision-making authority on crucial matters, directly accountable to the community.
Commitment: Start part-time, with the option to transition to full-time as the project scales.
Accountability: Built-in review — mandate runs for six months (01.09.2025 → 01.03.2026). Then the community votes again: continue or revert to status quo.
Goal: Align authority with responsibility so decisions can be made swiftly, transparently, and in the community’s best interest.
2️⃣ Future Compensation (No Retroactive Payments)
To sustain the project, we propose a forward-looking compensation model only. Past compensation has been completely removed in response to community concerns. Because of this, we believe a small bump in future compensation is fair and necessary — to ensure contributors feel valued and motivated going forward, while still keeping the structure modest and sustainable.
Rates (from Sept 2025 onward):
🔹 Compensation is calculated in PAWTH using the average market price each month. 🔹 Keeps payouts stable in value while protecting long-term holders. 🔹 Open model: new contributors can join if vetted, under the same rules.
Voting is open for 6 days and ends Sunday, 31.08.2025. If passed, the mandate begins Monday, 01.09.2025. Your voice matters. This decision will shape Pawthereum’s future.
Voting options:
✅ For — Approve this proposal (leadership + future compensation plan) ❌ Against — Reject this proposal and keep the current structure ➖ Abstain — No position, but still counted in participation
