Should the core team be compensated?

The core team of Grumpy (now Pawthereum) has worked really hard for the past months, some of us almost 7 months without any form of compensation. Most of us have schools and jobs to attend to (I did too before I quit my job to concentrate all of my effort into this) but we have still managed to keep the project running by spending all of our time and effort on it and paying for costs needed out of our own pocket.

The question is, should the Pawthereum core team be compensated in a form of 1% of PAWTH tokens which would be split amongst them? Whatever you vote on know that we will respect the results and appreciate the support you, the community, have been giving us over the past months.
