Days ago, a compensation vote passed to give the 6 pre-launch volunteer core team 1% of total $PAWTH supply as compensation for their 6+ months of work. Virtually all of this work was done with zero budget, with core members spending their own money to rescue Grumpy into becoming Pawthereum.
Prior to the coming token burn, myself and a group of community members would like to propose that this compensation, both for past work and future work still to be done, be adjusted upwards to 3% of total supply, giving 0.5% of total supply to each pre-launch core member if split equally. Additionally, all compensation must be held without transfer or sale by each core member for 6 months from the end of the vote.
We believe this is fair compensation for work done and a proper level of held equity for the core team to continue to do strong work for the future of Pawthereum. Unlike most other projects, this core team has never received any tokens along the way of the entire development cycle.
The pre-launch core members that would receive compensation are: Nawa Amiri (leader), Kevin McGovney (developer), Myk (developer), Jami/reneb (web design), Kone (promoter/moderator), and Antony/GrumpyHobo (influencer/moderator).
