I am a Chartered Accountant who quit his Web2 accounting job, to go full time into web3 accounting. I started a podcast where I invite industry leaders to discuss the impact of blockchain in accounting, and how accountants should prepare for a blockchain future. I interviewed industry leaders like Cryptio, Request Network, RSM, and even the prominent cryptographer Ian Grigg, to discuss the emergence of the new triple-accounting framework.

I am regularly invited to speak about blockchain in accounting, and the new tools to facilitate on-chain accounting. Currently my focus is to leverage my accounting & auditing background, to make DAOs financials easier and more transparent to their communities.

I also work 80% of time at Request Network as a Community Manager, and regularly host their Twitter Spaces where I speak to Web3 industry leaders, like Enjin, Aragon, Maker DAO.

Proposed roles & responsibilities

Partner in 🟠 Ops Unit and 🟢 Finance Unit;
Periodic financial overview of DAO to community;
Devise accounting processes to streamline operations;
Partnerships with other DAOs & projects;
In charge of other financial and accounting functions, including financial modeling, budgeting, payroll and expense management, cash and currency management;
Liaise with potential funding sources;
Lead Pen-X Podcast project;
Ad-hoc finance ops.

Proposed offer to candidate

Term: 10 weeks (Immediate start until end Q2)
Hours: 1 full day (8 hours) per week
Compensation: 22,160 PENX fixed compensation
Vesting: Linear over term with 1 month cliff
