The team has set the following goals for PeopleDAO Season 3: Report on DAO legal wrappers: One of the goals for Season 2 was to release a report on Legal Wrappers and recommend which wrapper(s) to adopt. The research is finished so that we can release the report this season.

Amend the Constitution: The Legal Team will lead an amendment process in Season 3, seeking to complete the formalization of the Accounting, Incubator, and Operations teams. We will gather public input so the amendment addresses all interests. Our Constitution should remain a source of stability with clear policies.

OpenLaw and Kleros: The Legal Team will research how to integrate OpenLaw for contracts between PeopleDAO and our subDAOs. The Team also needs to pre-set up a neutral arbiter to resolve small claims, insurance, intellectual property, and other contractual issues for PeopleDAO and our subDAOs. We will explore using Kleros, an open-source dispute resolution protocol that uses blockchain to mediate fairly.

Implementing Complaint Mechanisms: Building on our R&D from last Season, The Legal Team will create and distribute satisfaction surveys to contributors monthly or bimonthly. These surveys will gather information on how contributors feel about the community environment; their contribution affects their well-being, and recommendations for addressing problems. The Legal and Ops Team will collate a report and support the Core Contributor in responding to any needs.
