  • Summary
    • After a first this snapshot : https://snapshot.org/#/piedao.eth/proposal/0xb89a5fcb2a046b74e175b55f014d53eab6fe8be6db4ff289076ee274c21a392f, there was a really close vote for the minimum distribution regarding the treasury farming.
    • Intention on this proposal is to remove the minimum distribution and only distribute in the up months.
  • Authors
    • On behalf of peddypeddler on the forum, Snook' is posting the snapshot proposal.
  • Passing Thresholds:
    • 5% or more of veDOUGH supply must participate (CURRENT_SUPPLY * 0.05 = RESULT) 60% or more of participating tokens must vote FOR
  • Motivation & Scope
    • In order to reward current veDough Holders in up months, it would make sense to distribute how ever the market is reacting. If it means no reward in down month, so be it.
  • Benefits & Risks PROS To make sure we do not suppress any capital in the underperforming months To make it more predictable on how the money will be distributed by the treasury committee. CONS Much less predictable rewards distribution
  • Next Steps
    • If vote passes, Treasury comity would distribute the rewards in up month only ; no reserve created for down months.
  • Closing notes veDough Holders, please vote FOR if you believe rewards should be distributed fully and no reward in down month AGAINST if you believe we shouldn't change current strategy Need more information
