Slice Index Choice

There has been some concern expressed about Slice issuing rewards from the same Pie every month. If this happens, Slice would essentially become backed by a single Pie. To keep this from happening, I propose the following actions.

• First, if a Pie is chosen to be the Slice distribution for the previous month. It cannot be selected in the next month. This would keep Slice from being dominated by a single Pie but could result in Slice being dominated by two Pies. Likely, these Pie’s would end up being BCP and PLAY.

• Second, if a Pie is chosen to be the Slice distribution, it cannot be selected again for two months. This would keep Slice from being dominated. However, there is the issue of Slice becoming less desirable if every third month a less used Pie is issued as a reward. On a positive side, it would make Slice a more accurate representation of the PieDAO universe with holders having a wider variety of the available Pies.

• Third, maintain the current system and allow for all Pie’s to be available to choose from each month.
