Proposal 12 – Add Yuzu Money syzUSD to USP Backing Reserve Distribution

Summary

This proposal seeks to add Yuzu Money’s Staked yzUSD (syzUSD) to the USP Backing Reserve.
Yuzu Money syzUSD will be included in both the reserve distribution and max allowance lists.

Rationale

Yuzu Money Staked yzUSD (syzUSD) offers a yield-generating strategy through the staking of yzUSD, represented via an ERC-4626–compatible wrapper designed for on-chain composability.

By integrating syzUSD into the backing reserve, USP’s collateral composition remains yield-optimized while activating passive APY on an otherwise idle reserve allocation.

Adding syzUSD ensures that USP continues leveraging transparent, composable yield strategies aligned with the protocol’s stability, liquidity, and capital-efficiency goals.
