This is a governance proposal to invite some of the selected DeFi protocols to the Litter Box 3 by allowing certain users from those protocols to call a claim function.
Litter Box 3 is on the horizon, and it is undeniable that Overlay needs to invite DeFi frens to use the protocol throughout this sandboxed version. Before a full launch, we should ensure that enough users have tested the protocol. We can do this by inviting DeFi frens from other Degen protocols.
The proposal offers to invite some selected DeFi protocols to ensure a good amount of degen DeFi users participating in the protocol. When the term 'degen' is used, DegenScore immediately comes to mind for most crypto enthusiasts. Therefore, I think DegenScore should be the first protocol invited to participate in this sandboxed launch. We're getting so close to fully launching the protocol, and the participation of other DeFi protocols, starting from DegenScore, would help the protocol's growth a lot.
For Litter Box 3, we could adopt a predetermined and strict schedule for DeFi protocols. All DeFi protocols here, including Overlay Community, should have a certain period to claim. Additionally, these protocols should have a limited number of invitations to ensure that the first users have an advantage in using the protocol before the full launch and to give them a chance to earn reward NFTs. This proposal offers a schedule like this:
February 22: DegenScore Beacon Holders (Only First 222 Users) February 25: Overlay Community, PCD Holders, Previous Litter Box users and Litter Box 3 Registrants (Only First 222 Users) February 28: Sense Finance Users (Only First 22 Users) March 3: Gearbox Users (Only First 44 Users) March 6: GMX Users (Only First 44 Users) March 9: ?** **(More protocols could be added by the Foundation, and the dates and the number of users could also change after the discussion on discord, without any need for further OGP.)
These are two options offered on this Snapshot:
1-Invite Selected DeFi Protocols and Adopt This Schedule 2-Do not invite anyone other than the Overlay Community
