With the transition having been between members previously unknown to each other it was important to distribute power between several interest groups and make the signatures so that no group alone could execute anything.
Now that we have ran through 73 and counting MS transactions the situation has changed and we are in need of updates on the multisig owners.
The Stryke team understandably are busy with building their own protocol and have not been active in our multisig since the very first transactions back in summer.
This was expected as they have their own protocol to run. This also means that we effectively have had a 4/5 MS which is prone to extend signature collection times significantly.
Removing the two Stryke signatures (tz, wb), after also checking with the Stryke team, is the best course of action in the team's perspective.
To achieve a more robust signing model with active participation in signing, and easier monitorability overall, we propose to add our Plutus native developer, @439d, and our User Engagement Officer, @defikun, in the Stryke team's stead.
The 4/7 model is robust and we don't want to change the setup. However, to ensure that we get these signatures in time for TWAPs, Liquidity actions, and general day-to-day tasks, it is necessary to change some of the signers to achieve a higher average activity with Plutus related signatures.
We also want to thank tz and wb for having overseen the kick-off of Plutus and offering to still help out with transaction review when needed even after this transition is done.
