DAO GUIDELINES

Voting

  • Each member-wallet to vote based on their amount of OOPAs.
    • In an effort to make every vote count while also giving some weight to whales, we are using a tiered system.
    • Holders of 1-19 OOPAs get 1 vote, then it steps up 1 extra vote for every 10 more you hold
  • Only DAO members can submit official proposals.
    • To avoid an abuse of the proposal system, only members with at least 3 OOPAs will be allowed to submit a proposal to be voted on
    • Someone with at least 1 OOPAs can still put up proposals for discussion, but not up to vote
  • No quorum is needed during votes

Proposals

  • Proposal types:
    • Non-grant related proposals Example: Change to voting procedures, changes to treasury management
    • Small grants proposals
      • For grants under 200$
      • Approved by Grant Subcommittee
    • Large grants proposals
      • For grants over 200$
      • Large Grants are put to a DAO-wide vote
  • A subcommittee of 5 members will be voted by the DAO.
    • They will be responsible for approving Small Grants
    • They will also be responsible for deciding which Large Grants are put to a vote
  • All proposals must use the attached Proposal Template
  • Voting for grants will follow a schedule:
    • 1st to 18th - Only proposal discussions
    • 18th to 20th (3 days) - Proposals are submitted through an official channel
    • 22nd - Snapshot is taken
    • 22nd to 24th (3 days) - Subcommittee approves/disapproves of the small grants, and decides if the large grant proposals are complete enough for a DAO-wide vote
    • 24th to 30th (7 days) - Voting on large grants

Community Treasury

  • Treasury wallet will start with 12,000$ and 30 Golden Tokens, provided by OOPA
    • Wallet: 0xde62770ccF1D78F4715443be273e028839daF92B
  • The wallet will be converted to a multisig which includes:
