Hello Polis Community,
my name is Andreas (Sido) I am currently the elected DAO Business Manager of Polis. I have been looking for a suitable centralized exchange for Polis for weeks. Currently there are 5 offers. I would like to have feedback from the community which Exchange is the best from your point of view or if none of them is interesting.
This proposal is not a budget request! It only serves as an orientation for me, what you want or not.
LATOKEN (Polis native blockchain listing) Listing price at least 20,000 USD Liquidity: 0.5 BTC (0.25 Polis and 0.25 USDT) Marketmaker required
Probit Global (listing Polis as a BSC token) Listing price at least 25,000 USD Liquidity: 0.5 BTC (0.25 Polis and 0.25 USDT) Marketmaker required
DigiFinex (listing Polis as a BSC token) Listing price at least 50,000 USD Liquidity: 0.5 BTC (0.25 Polis and 0.25 USDT) Marketmaker required
Bitmark (Polis native blockchain listing) Listing price at least 60.000 USD Liquidity: 0.5 BTC (0.25 Polis and 0.25 USDT) Marketmaker required
Hotbit (listing Polis as a BSC token) Listing price at least 30.000 USD Liquidity: 0.5 BTC (0.25 Polis and 0.25 USDT) Marketmaker needed
Please note that each exchange has delisting rules. That means if we do not reach a certain volume 10k USD -100 K usd (daily) , we will be delisted and the listing fee is gone. There are other things that are in the contracts here are some excerpts of rules of these exchanges. So you should know that it is not only about the listing fee, but also about the risk to be delisted again. In the past Polis has been listed on many central Exchanges, all of them delisted or hacked. (Cryptopia, WhiteBIT, P2PB2B or even Cryptobridge).
Examples of delisting conditions:
-A bid-ask spread greater than 3%. -Less than USDT 100,000 average daily trading volume (3-day average). -Less than 30 orders on each side of the order book of each trading pair -Less than USDT 3,000 worth of orders on each side of the order book within a price range of 5% of the market price -Orders worth less than 8,000 USDT are booked within a price range of 10% of the market price -Orders worth less than 20,000 USDT are booked within a price range of 20% of the market price -Less than 20 trades per 10 minutes
The Exchange reserves the right to suspend POLIS trading, deposits or withdrawals for an indefinite period of time at its sole discretion, specifically if the Exchange believes there are suspicious security breaches, suspicious trading activity, suspicious withdrawal patterns or similar security issues.
Must provide PolisTeam with all central exchanges. 1 Security Audit Report 2 Legal opinion 3 Company registration document 4 Market making (for liquidity)
Market making: In addition, the team must provide at least 50,000 USD -100,000 USD liquidity (50% in Polis and 50% in USDT), which is then used to ensure liquidity on the exchanges. Some exchanges also require a market maker (3000 USD - 4000 USD per month) to generate volume and keep the spread low. Partly they demand washtrading and fake volume from us. I personally am not a fan of this but this is the world of central exchanges. Regulatory changes or legislative changes can also lead to delisting, depending on which country the exchange is in. It can also happen that they are hacked or have to close. That is why I only look for exchanges that have been on the market for a long time.
These Exchanges have also been contacted and I am waiting for a quote.
Bitfinex Gate.io Poloniex Bithumb Bitrue Crypto.com
These Exchanges will not list us until we are on a T2 Exchange with at least 150,000 USD daily volume.
Binance FTX Coinbase Kraken Kucoin Huobi Gemini Bittrex Upbit AscendEX (Bitmax)
Offers that I myself have already rejected because they are not possible and the conditions do not fit to Polis:
Coinone Coinsbit CEX.io HitBTC Cointiger Crex24 WhiteBIT BTC Alpha TradeOgre VCC Exchange Exrates
Another thing from me: I see in the chat again and again the question for another exchange listing and would like to know from the Polis holders what they want. I do not want to use the money from the community because some people in the chat are shouting loudly. The holders of Polis should say what they think is good or not.
Attention! An exchange listing does not mean at the same time that the price rises, that I know from experience and many of you also!
I am looking forward to your feedback via vote. We can discuss this topic in the Discord channel. I will gladly answer questions or accept suggestions.
