Collector Staking Challenges for new Polymon

Voting ended over 3 years agoSucceeded

We know you love collecting, so we’re adding new rainbow & horn challenges for the 8 new Polymon just in time!

Challenge design and points are oriented on challenges from existing monsters

  • The fundamental logic of the new Rainbow and Horn Challenges is identical to the logic of previous challenges and will follow the "base-points and boosters" mechanic
  • In regards to the height of base points and multipliers, the challenges for new monsters will be copies from Rainbow and Horn Challenges for existing monsters with similar rarities
  • For example, the Unigiraffe (2,00% Rarity) will get the same points as the Unibranch (2,70% Rarity) since they both have a very similar rarity

Our estimations indicate low single-digit inflation of total Collector Score through the new challenges

  • We usually use different methods to forecast the impact of our decisions on the total collector score
  • In the case of challenges, this is notoriously hard since the fulfillment rate of the challenges is hard to predict
  • However, taking into account the avg. fulfillment rate of previous challenges, we land at a inflation of the total current collector score by 1.5%-2% through the new challenges after all final 225.000 booster packs are sold.
  • This approach is pretty conservative since fulfillment rates are expected to be lower for the new monsters due to the low quantity of remaining booster packs
  • For example, the expected amount for the Unigiraffe (rarity 2%) is ~13.500 monsters, while we have ~185.000 Unibranches, which have a similar rarity of 2.7%

Since this approach is so conservative due to the very limited expected amount of new Monsters, we give you the possibility to vote on increased base points of the challenges for the new monsters.

The now implemented solution will act as base voting option.

The further options will be to 1.33x, 1.67x or 2.00x the currently implemented base points for the new-monster challenges. Voting will be open until Sunday 23:59 UTC time.

If less than 50% of the votes go to to the 1.00x option, we will implement the non-"1.00" option that got the most votes.
