Rainbow Monsters in Collector Staking
The Rainbow Fusion release is right around the corner, but we have one final (and probably most impactful) DAO vote that we still need your opinion on: Their impact on Collector Staking.
Background Information
Rainbow Monsters will be limited to a maximum total amount of 25,000. Therefore, these will be extremely rare within the collection by nature. To value them in an appropriate manner, we would like to increase the multiplication factor for their rarity scores and include their own Collector Staking challenge.
Only voting on the rarity score
The challenge itself is already set and is a combination of the base point system of our previous seasonal challenges as well as the Binance Baby boosters. The Collector Challenge will have 11 base point levels - one for every type. The main goal here is to reward owning a Rainbow Monster of each type.
Additionally, we will introduce two 2x point boosters:
- One for having at least two black Rainbow Polymon
- One for having at least two Rainbow Glitter Polymon
The Rainbow Monster Collector Challenge base point levels will be as follows:
1/11: 1,000 2/11: 2,500 3/11: 5,000 4/11: 7,500 5/11: 10,000 6/11: 12,500 7/11: 15,000 8/11: 17,500 9/11: 20,000 10/11: 22,500 11/11: 25,000
Therefore, the total amount of possible points via this challenge is 100,000. This might seem a bit low regarding their overall rarity and potential valuation, but these points are in addition to the rarity scores attached to each monster.
Fusioned monsters continue to count for challenges
In general, each Rainbow Monster still counts for all the challenges of the fused monsters that were combined to create it. For example, if you fuse all six of your Unisheeps used for points in your Unisheep Rainbow Challenge, they will still count for it.
It’s always worth fusioning monsters
The Rarity Score of the Rainbow Monster will consist of the sum of all fusioned Polymons’ rarity scores plus a multiplier. We are asking the community to decide on this multiplier.
There will be two multiplier ranges:
- 1.1x to 1.5x
- 1.1x to 2x
The multiplier will be the sum of all 3 attribute multipliers (horn, color and glitter) divided by three. You can find the exact multipliers here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pvF1Qx2Pmc7uPqT8Z3LjOYeMGvXJfduOkfBzo7y20jE/edit?usp=sharing
For example: Having a black normal glitter Rainbow Unisheep with a Candy Cane horn would get the following boost: Color multiplier (black): 1.5x / 2x Horn multiplier (candy cane): 1.2x / 1.2x Glitter multiplier (normal): 1.3x / 1.5x
Result: (1.5 + 1.2 + 1.3) / 3 = 1.33 or (2 + 1.2 + 1.5) / 3 = 1.56
Thus, the Rainbow Monster’s rarity score would be multiplied with the corresponding boost multiplier described above in order to increase the overall rarity score to make fusions more attractive.
Voting
Voting will be single choice, meaning that each voter may only choose his or her single favorite option. The majority choice preference will be declared the winner. This means that the vote with the absolute majority of vote points wins. Vote points for each voter consist of their amount of $PMON tokens, Polymon, and Collect to Earn score.
Voting Options
We offer the following two options in this round of single choice voting:
-
Collector Staking Challenge plus a rarity score multiplier between 1.1x and 1.5x
-
Collector Staking Challenge plus a rarity score multiplier between 1.1x and 2x
Please vote for your preferred option below. Thanks!
