UNL1 - How long should we postpone the auction for?

Voting ended about 4 years agoSucceeded

// Authors: Sail-o-Etienne, GC, Fabien.

Summary

Potion unlock is a collective ceremony to open-source the Potion Protocol’s codebase through an NFT-based social consensus game running on the Ethereum blockchain.

In order to start the unlock, the Potion team needs to sell 3 series of NFTs during a dutch auction. The NFTs auction is expected to start on February 28th, in approximately 4 days from now.

During the first community call, a broad consensus emerged on the importance of postponing the start of the auction in order to:

  1. Clarify the governance framework around NFTs and the potential issuance of an ERC20 token,
  2. Increase awareness about Potion protocol prior to the auction.

The Potion core team has been made aware of this request during yesterday’s Potion AMA. They responded favourably to the community's request, with a single requirement: validate the initiative through a snapshot vote using circulating NFTs: OGs, Wise Wizards and Kelly Knights.
