PAPER emissions on FTM have been set to a higher level than all the other chains in order to bootstrap the initial token supply. The team believes that normalizing the emission rates between chains will add more stability to the protocol and encourage upward pressure on the price of PAPER via lower supply, thereby potentially increasing the APR in the Printer which is based on the price of PAPER, which is envisioned to in turn raise the corresponding value if INK.
The team also believes this will incentivize increases in the liquidity pools of PAPER-FTM, INK-FTM, and PAPER-INK providing further support.
Along with this proposal, the team will burn 20,000 PAPER tokens to help quicken the effect.
This proposal is to standardize the PAPER emission rates on FTM to be in alignment with other chains, and burn 20,000 PAPER.
