Blake4Liberty Community Ambassador Vote

I am announcing my desire to continue to be a GDAO Ambassador.

This quarter was a short one, but some great things were accomplished nonetheless. I’m also including my work from Q2 so you can see more of what has been going on.

Continuing the work from Q2:

I have continued representing GDAO in the DAO Coalition. This has resulted in several speaking engagements as well, including a Twitter Space hosted by the DAO Coalition and another hosted by 3OH DAO. I expect that there will be information to share about the work the DAO Coalition is doing in the next few weeks, as well as to get input from all the member DAOs.

DAO Speed Dating continues to be successful leading to business opportunities and speaking engagements.

I’ve also had the opportunity to sit in on a few core team meetings this quarter.

If re-elected, I look forward to continuing this work and continuing to look for more opportunities to network and grow Governor DAO.

Here’s what was accomplished in Q2:

Q2 Work More than 120 hours of work

DAO Speed Dating -Helped create DAO Speed Dating alongside ETH LDGR, including script, format, schedule, marketing, -Hosted DAO Speed Dating weekly since inception -Made multiple weekly graphics and marketing posts -Outreach to numerous potential guests -Follow-up with guests after the Space, leading to ongoing talks and relationships

Sapien Network Twitter Space -Represented GDAO in a Sapien Network roundtable discussion about civic action

Docs Overhaul -Went through all of the GDAO docs, working with ETH LDGR, to update with current information, clean up and clarify language, and organize all the docs.

Discord Overhaul -Worked with Netminer to overhaul the GDAO Discord. -While Discord is not the main place our community engages, it has been particularly useful when reaching out to communities based primarily on Discord and provides another place to demonstrate our PoE-gated chat capabilities.

DAO Coalition -One of the relationships that began with DAO Speed Dating resulted in GDAO being invited to join a DAO Advocacy Coalition, with myself being invited to represent GDAO. It is still in the early stages of development, and I will share information as it comes.

The Rest -Attended weekly GAMBs Meetings -Reached out to numerous projects and handed off warm leads to appropriate GAMB/Team members -Engaged with the community on Twitter, Telegram, Discord, in DMs, etc. and maintained availability to answer questions, provide important info, and direct folks who reached out to the right contact -Provided and/or edited content for Tweets for main GDAO Twitter and GAMBs Twitter -Outreach and meetings with potential clients

If elected, I plan to continue the relevant activities listed above and continue growing opportunities for the GDAO community.

Q3 Plans -Continue all DAO Speed Dating activities -Continue to foster relationships built from DAO Speed Dating and other outreach efforts -Continue to build out the GDAO docs with new content –Media, Sub-DAOs, etc -Continue to reach out to and field reach outs from potential clients -Continue to engage with questions from the community -Represent GDAO in the DAO Coalition -Always look for more opportunities to benefit the GDAO community
