Good Points for POG DAO Governance

In order to motivate consistent engagement in DAO governance, I propose that all PoG DAO governance activity should earn Good Points. Civic participation and activism is an important social good, and should be recognized and rewarded.

PoG DAO members should earn Good Points for participating in decentralized governance.

• 1 vote on a proposal that is approved = 10 GP
• 1 Proposal Submitted and earns 25 votes = 50 GP
• 1 Proposal Approved = 250 GP

This standard Good Points scoring system would be applied to all other PoG Oracles that are also DAO’s.

Philosophy

To avoid voting spam, we want only approved proposals to earn GP. To avoid proposal spam, we want to reward GP to those proposals that are of high quality and have broad support.
