Introduction

This proposal aims to secure the necessary funding for the Franken DAO to continue its operations over the next six months. By allocating resources towards key roles and administrative costs, we can ensure the continued growth and success of our decentralized community. This document outlines the allocation of funds for three crucial roles within the organization: Marketing Manager, Engineer, and DAO Manager, as well as the administrative costs required to maintain the infrastructure and support of the Franken DAO.

Proposal Summary

The total budget for this six-month operations funding proposal is 36 ETH and $10000 in Infrastructure costs. The distribution of funds is as follows:

• Marketing Manager: 1-2 ETH
• Engineer: 2 ETH
• DAO Manager: 1-2 ETH

Infrastructure/Tech Costs: $10,000

• Tech Reimbursement: $5,000
• Infrastructure Costs: $5,000

Role Responsibilities

Marketing Manager:

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to raise awareness and promote the Franken DAO.
• Manage social media channels, create content, and engage with the community.
• Coordinate events, Twitter Spaces and other promotional activities to expand the reach of the Franken DAO.
• Monitor and analyze marketing performance and adjust strategies as needed.

Engineer:

• Develop, maintain, and improve the Franken DAO's technical infrastructure.
• Implement new features and improvements to the DAO dApp.
• Ensure the security and stability of the Franken DAO's platform and smart contracts.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and DAO Manager to identify and prioritize technical initiatives.

DAO Manager:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Franken DAO.
• Manage and support the DAO contributors, ensuring they have the necessary resources and guidance to create and execute proposals.
• Coordinate with the Marketing Manager and Engineer to align efforts and make sure the DAO proposal process runs smoothly.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the Franken DAO's community and contributors, addressing concerns and facilitating communication to the broader FrankenPunks community.

Administrative Costs:

The $10,000 allocated for administrative costs will cover expenses such as:

• AWS, Web3 API providers, Google services
• Pinata IPFS storage
• Collaboration and project management tools
• Discord Bots
• Miscellaneous operational costs

This funding proposal will provide the necessary resources for the Franken DAO to grow and thrive, ensuring a robust and sustainable ecosystem for our community members. By investing in key roles and administrative costs, we aim to:

• Strengthen our community and project by continuously improving their features and security.
• Enhance the visibility of the Franken DAO, attracting new members and contribtutors for the DAO
• Provide a more streamlined and efficient experience for members when participating in DAO governance and decision-making processes.
• Create an environment of collaboration and innovation, where community members can contribute ideas and work together to improve the Franken DAO's offerings.

Execution

This proposal will send a budget of 45 ETH to an operating multi-sig where it will be allocated on a monthly basis to pay for work done by the roles mentioned above. At the end of each month the Franken DAO council will review the work done by the operating team and will provide feedback on the execution of the above mentioned role tasks. For work that execeeds expectations the Franken Council will renew the contract for another month. If it is found that the tasks are not be performed up to standard then the contract for the operating roles will not be renewed.
