Operational Budget Proposal: Founder Salary

Overview

For the last 2 years, the founders have not taken ongoing pay from the FrankenPunk project. I bet some of you assumed that we were receiving a salary, but we were not.

Originally, when we launched the idea of a DAO, we believed that after a year or so of work, the DAO could potentially become independent. Meaning it could run itself independently and grow on its own. This has proven not to be the case and has shown us that we need to be here, involved full time to make sure the DAO continues to operate and grow.

We both want to commit the time needed to grow this project back into what it was. Over the past months, we have taken a less active role in directing and growing the project. We believe it is time to focus more effort on new releases and updates to the FrankenPunks project.

Now, as the founders, we come to you all asking for the approval of a 2ETH salary per month, for both of us. This is the same as we are paying most of our team - showing that we are not trying to overvalue our time and loot the DAO treasury.

This allows us to dedicate more time in growing this project.

Goals

• Actively grow the FrankenPunk project
• Sit at the wheel of the DAO and steer it in a positive direction
• Raise the floor price of FrankenPunks
• Much higher activity inside FrankenPunk channels

FrankenDAO Benefits

Allowing the founders to focus on running FrankenPunks and steering the DAO benefits the DAO by giving it direction and having proven leaders in the driver’s seat. The goal is to get the project back to prominence and bring awareness back to the project. This includes content formats, community rewards and a few new product releases.

Timeline

3 months.

Sept - Dec.

Execution plan

Actively running the project. Participating in town halls, participating in discord chats. Executing the plan for the next 2-3 months on what has been worked on by the team and founders. Entertainment and driving bottom line revenue for the project.

Budget and fund utilization

12 ETH

6 ETH for each founder

2 ETH each month for each founder, paid monthly.

It will be paid out of the ops budget like everyone else, month-to-month.
