Furthering IP Use Cases For CryptoPunks

Overview

We’re building a crypto-native product that puts NFT art and IP onto a high-quality, white-labeled consumer product and sells them online. (More info on the product soon). NFT holders can license their IP to us through a simple, on-chain portal, earning royalties from each sale of a product with their NFT on it. We handle design, production, fulfillment, and marketing, using an existing white-label supplier to minimize upfront costs. This gives NFT holders a way to monetize their assets while offering consumers collectible, culturally-relevant shit.\

Goals

Our MVP will focus on a single product and partnerships with 2–3 NFT projects to test demand (CPs, BAYCs, Pudgies). Revenue comes from product margins and a small platform fee, with royalties distributed transparently via smart contracts. The business is lean, scalable, and taps into the growing NFT and digital culture economy.

FrankenDAO Benefits

The FrankenDAO will receive a small profit share from every product sold. As I'm only asking for a modest $5k, the profit share will be modest as well. More details to come on this soon. I will be also using the FrankenPunks CryptoPunks as IP for the products, so the DAO will also receive a profit-share from their IP being used.

Timeline

In the next month we will launch an IP waitlist which we will use to collect IP rights from NFT holders. After that we will launch our first limited edition IP product and hopefully sell-out. This should all take under 6 weeks.

Budget and fund utilization

I want to use a super modest amount of (~$5k) to build the portal, onboard partners, and launch the first product. The idea is simple: put NFTs on dope products — and sell them.
