Enabling organizational efficiency of the Quantum Biology Institute through extended Quantum Biology DAO grant
Quantum Biolog DAO DP-20 - Clarice D. Aiello The Quantum Biology DAO Development proposal - 020 (QBIO DP-20) streamlines a grant to the Quantum Biology Institute, thereby increasing its efficiency.
Background
The Quantum Biology Institute is the largest grantee of the Quantum Biology DAO; we can argue that the Quantum Biology DAO was funded to support the Institute’s mission of developing a quantum microscope.
However, for the past half year, monthly budgets to the Quantum Biology Institute have been passed, in what constitutes an increase in overhead of time, especially of the scientists with boots on the ground at the Institute.
Here, we propose a large grant to the Institute, so that the administrative load of passing monthly budgets is cut.
Description
With this proposal, the Quantum Biology DAO will allow a month-by-month withdrawal of its treasury to fund the Quantum Biology Institute, up to a total cumulative amount of 500 ETH. In turn, the Quantum Biology Institute will publicly publicize all its monthly expenses.
Conclusion
By doing this large grant of up to 500 ETH to the Quantum Biology Institute, the Quantum Biology DAO will decrease administrative overhead of the scientists advancing the field of quantum biology at the Quantum Biology Institute.
