Quantum Biology DAO Development Proposal - 026 (QBIO DP-26)
Title: Quantum Biology DAO Website Update (May 2026) Proposal
See original drafted text or public discussion.
This development proposal allocates $6,000 for the DAO to update the Quantum Biology DAO’s website (quantumbiology.xyz). The selection of providers will be performed by Kyra Gardner, the DAO’s Media Director. Actual expenses will be reported to DAO.
The Quantum Biology DAO website (quantumbiology.xyz) has not been updated since the original DAO fundraise in December 2024. More than a year has passed since then, with many important developments, such as substantial growth in the DAO’s community and initiatives, as well as the launch of the QBIO governance token.
In the summer and fall of 2025, Kyra Gardner, Media Director for the Quantum Biology DAO, led the Communications working group in a redesign of the website. A design is now ready to be implemented.
Under normal circumstances, a routine expense of moderate cost (i.e., $1,000-10,000), such as the updating of the DAO website, would be covered under the DAO’s annual budget. However, the DAO’s annual budget for 2026 (DP-23) was blocked in Feb 2026. Subsequently, the DAO is seeking to pass items originally envisioned for that budget individually.
1. Approval of $6,000 for updating the DAO’s website. $6,000 USDC will be allocated from the DAO treasury to cover website redesign. The DAO’s Media Director, Kyra Gardner, will select the providers.
2. Reporting expenses. The DAO’s Media Director will report actual expenses spent on the website redesign to the DAO.
The DAO benefits from having an attractive, up-to-date website that will include the DAO’s many activities and initiatives, as well as information about DAO governance and the QBIO token.
