Deploy Radial Protocol on Ethereum

Voting ended over 3 years agoSucceeded

Proposal

This proposal seeks to gather the consensus of the Radial Token ($RDL) holders requesting the Development Team of Radial DAO to embrace Mainnet Ethereum for a deployment of the Protocol tailored to the new upcoming version of Solidly.

Rationale

The original Solidly Exchange, although idealized to be a masterpiece of DeFi economics, had multiple inherent bugs, that proved fatal to its existence and undermined its full potential to become the best DEX.

Migration to Ethereum

Recently, the majority (67%) of veNFT holders including Protocols and Entities like 0xDAO (30%), Deus (6%), Roosh (20%), SpiritSwap, Iron Bank, Yearn Finance among others have signaled their approval in a migration and re-deployment of the Solidly codebase with bug fixes on the Ethereum Chain, orchetrated by a multisig contract held between c30 (0xDAO Team), Beepidibop (0xDAO Team), Roosh (Independent VC) & Lafa (Deus Team).

This affects Radial's Treasury

As the migration gets finalized in early October, it is expected that SOLID tokens in all forms on Fantom Network will start declining in value. As all the RDL holders are the final owners of Radial DAO's treasury, it would be wise to migrate (or apply for a grant of an equivalent) the veSOLID veNFT#12 that Radial holds to the new Ethereum version of Solidly+ Currently, this NFT holds nearly 1 Million SOLID (988,835) representing nearly 2% of the ve-locked SOLID on Fantom.

This asset forms the majority of the DAO's assets and it protecting its value should be the top priority of the DAO.

Road to Ethereum

A move to deploy Radial Protocol on Ethereum would help Radial gain more new users & wider adoption for its products, ultimately benefiting Solidly+ to attract higher TVL with the increased ("Boosted") APRs brought in by the power of Radial's veNFT in its Covex-layer product on Ethereum.

Choices

"Yes, deploy on Ethereum too"

Voting for "Yes, deploy on Ethereum too" means that you SUPPORT the proposal and want Radial Protocol Developers to:

  • Expand the Product-suite (A "Convex" and/or "Votium" Layer for Solidly) of Radial Finance to Ethereum Chain.
  • The Fantom version would remain unaffected, if possible, with the approval of Solidly Labs.
  • Request the Solidly Labs for "A Grant" of veNFT equivalent to Radial's veNFT#12 on Fantom, earned during the Fantom Opera TVL Race ("VampWars") in Early 2022, Q1.
  • Request the MultiChain a.k.a. AnySwap team to integrate RDL token for Cross-chain bridging between Fantom & Ethereum. Alternatively, the Development team can come up with their own solution for Bridging, or execute an airdrop proportional to current holding of users, including all users who are Locked, Unlocked, Farming, Compounding, Leveraging, ve-Locking, or in any form have exposure to RDL.

"No, stay only on Fantom"

  • Voting for "No, stay only on Fantom" means that you want Radial to NOT deploy its Protocol on Fantom and forfeit the chance of earning a veSOLID veNFT on Ethereum.

Who can Vote on this proposal?

Only verified RDL holders at the time of this Snapshot will be able to vote.
