Currently, 99.9% airdrop recipients are not engaging with Rage V2, and there is a high likelihood they will sell their tokens immediately upon receiving them. In contrast, active V2 users are more invested in the platform and are less likely to sell quickly. We believe V2 users deserve a greater share of the airdrop because they are actively supporting our current product but have only received a small allocation of 1.25%
1. V1 Users: 87k total users, but only 67 started using V2 post-announcement, contributing just $39M in volume. This is only 6.8% of total volume generated since then. 2. Hyperliquid OG Spot Traders: Of the 11.5k $HFUN holders, only 24 started to use V2, contributing $3M in volume. This represents just 0.5% of total volume.
These numbers show that most airdrop recipients are not engaging with Rage V2 and have contributed little to its growth since the announcement.
Prioritize V1 users and Hyperliquid OG spot traders who are actively using V2 with an additional boost to their token allocation.
Use unallocated tokens to reward V2 users further and allocate the rest for product incentives, such as trading competitions.
We want to adjust the allocation to focus on users who are trading on V2. This means that users from these groups who haven’t used V2 will no longer receive an airdrop.
This revised airdrop allocation is reduced from 6.5% to 1.5% of total supply exclusively for V2 traders.
If this proposal is approved, the remaining unallocated tokens will not go to the team or treasury.
