[Event] - 2021 Rug Commemoration

Intro

Three years ago, on November 1st, 2021, Raptor was rugged by a rogue member (miguel). Last year, on November 1st, we commemorated it by burning RPTR, and proceeding to a buyback. We suggest re-enacting the event by burning RPTR and proceeding to another buyback on November 1st, 2024.

Description

We suggest burning RPTR on November 1st 2024, as well as buying some from the market. We're considering the following burn amounts: 3m RPTR or 5m RPTR, as well as the following buyback amount: $50, or no buyback.

Consequences

We'll burn RPTR and proceed to do the buyback on November 1st following the results of this proposal. If a buyback is involved, we'll use funds from our Aave position, since the Venus one currently pays a higher interest rate. Also, please note that the transaction might be delayed due to the multisig nature of our treasury (multiple team members have to confirm a transaction before its on-chain execution).
