RAW — Provisional Compensation Budget for December/21

Intro

This proposal presents a provisional compensation model and budget to be in effect for the month of December 2021, while a more comprehensive draft is being worked on.

Proposal

1. There will be a total 7.5ETH budget to be distributed between the areas of the DAO as follows:
   • governance: 1.5ETH
   • internal relations: 1ETH
   • marketing & PR: 1ETH
   • curation: 2.5ETH
   • finance: 1.5ETH
   • projects: 0ETH — budget for projects can be set on an ad-hoc basis given their limited time frames
2. To qualify for compensation, a member needs to gather a minimum of 15 discord interactions during the month of December in the compensated areas' channels
3. Each area's budget shall be divided among members per a decentralized compensation vote using coordinape.com
   1. each member gets 100 votes
   2. a member cannot vote on himself
   3. an area's budget will be distributed to members proportionately to the percentage of votes each member accumulates from the total votes in the area
4. The voting period will take place on the first 10 days of January
5. The main goals of each area for this month will be detailed on our private Notion workspace

Closing Remarks

The point of this proposal is to guarantee compensation for this first month and incentivize newcomers to contribute and roll up their sleeves.
