Summary This proposal seeks DAO approval to grant Flower AI a limited, revocable, VRC-15 compliant data license to access a portion of rDataDAO’s dataset. The licensed data will support training of COLLECTIVE-1, an open-source, community-owned AI model developed by Flower AI in collaboration with Vana and Flwr Labs. The data sharing agreement will respect contributor consent and ensure transparency in access, usage, and revenue flow. Proceeds will be used to fund DAO operations, ecosystem alignment, and potential contributor rewards.

Background Flower AI is building a decentralized AI foundation model—COLLECTIVE-1—designed to align incentives between contributors, developers, and the community. Their request to license rDataDAO-contributed data represents both a strategic partnership and a potential long-term value stream. All data usage will follow the VANA Data License terms and comply with VRC-15 guidelines, ensuring: Informed contributor consent

This engagement positions rDataDAO at the forefront of decentralized AI infrastructure while introducing early revenue for the DAO treasury.

Proposal The DAO is asked to approve the following:

1. Authorize the sale of a licensed, non-exclusive subset of rDataDAO’s dataset to Flower AI under a VANA-compliant data license agreement.

2. Ensure the agreement includes:

   -Time-bound and purpose-restricted usage

   -Contributor consent verification

-Public availability of the agreement via IPFS or on-chain hash

-Revocability provisions in line with VRC-15

3. Allocate proceeds toward:

-DAO development and operational funding

-Expansion of data sourcing and audit infrastructure

-Contributor and community reward mechanisms (to be scoped and voted on separately)

4. Commit to a post-sale transparency report that includes:

-Data shared and licensing scope

-Funds received

-Fund allocation plan and timeline
