The following requirements shall apply to voting on all future DAO proposals:
Voter Participation. Minimum voter participation must be at least 40 Castles (8% of the total supply of 500) in order for the proposal to pass into DAO law.
Re-Voting After Low Turnout. If a vote fails to meet minimum voter participation, the result will be nullified and the vote may be repeated. If a second or other subsequent vote on the same DAO proposal is held, minimum voter participation shall be reduced to 30 Castles (6% of the total supply of 500) in order for the proposal to pass into DAO law. Before resubmitting a DAO proposal for a second or subsequent vote, the proponent of the DAO proposal should consider waiting an appropriate time to raise awareness of, and interest in, the proposal. Community feedback and potential revisions to improve the proposal should also be considered.
Minimum Voting Period. All future votes on DAO proposals will be held over a 2 week minimum voting period to capture maximum possible participation.
Supermajority Required. A DAO proposal involving only two voting options shall not be deemed to be approved unless at least two-thirds (2/3s) of voted Castles vote in favor of one option.
