Medieval Castle Purchase Proposal

Context: The DAO proposed a draft to purchase a real world medieval castle last week. The proposal was modified based on discussion and collaboration within the DAO. The consensus was that we will start with the updating the initial purpose of the DAO treasury, to include purchasing a castle. Additional proposals will be required to formalize remaining details. We will vote to agree on the initial direction and then proceed with the others.

Proposal:

An authorized purpose of the Realms of Ether DAO shall be to conserve treasury funds for the purpose of buying real property in Europe containing a pre-19th century castle ("Castle").

Selection and purchase of a Castle will require further approval by future DAO action. Subsequent DAO proposals and votes will be required to determine other details of Castle ownership and management -- including formation of an entity to hold legal title to the Castle; membership and access; rentals or other business operations; amenities and additional services; and legal considerations.

The execution of the Castle proposal is a long term endeavor and is intended to be accomplished over a number of years.
