RIP48: Build Marionette

One of the tokenomic designs that have gained popularity among many DeFi projects, especially DEXes, from the last market cycle was Solidly’s ve(3,3) mechanism. The most unique feature of ve(3,3) is that the veTOKEN voting power directly controls gauge emissions as well as receives revenue share from pools that got voted on.

Marionette is a “voting optimizer for bribe markets” that helps users earn optimized rewards, and helps partners get an efficient and fair bribe market. Marionette works by managing the voting power of veTOKEN holders to vote optimally on gauges with the most total rewards.

Marionette is the next piece of Redacted’s bribe marketplace trifecta. If launched, the initial assets that will be supported by Marionette would be VELO and AERO.
