ReFi DAO v3 • Steward Council Election 2026

Voting ended about 1 month agoSucceeded

🌿 TL;DR

ReFi DAO is electing its Steward Council — 7 stewards (expandable to 8–9 based on community signal post-vote) to govern the Commons + steward the network for a 6–12 month term.

Voting opens now → closes Wed Jun 10, 18:00 (15 days · change your vote anytime). Quadratic voting · gasless · every voter gets an equal voting budget · shielded (votes private during the window).

🗳 How to vote — ~2–3 minutes

  1. Connect your wallet (the one you used to activate as Network Member)
  2. You'll see the 9 candidates with input fields to allocate your voting credits
  3. Distribute your credits across the candidates you support — give more to those you back more strongly. Spreading is rewarded (more total effective votes); concentrating support on fewer candidates becomes progressively more expensive (quadratic cost)
  4. Click Vote → sign the message (gasless · no gas · no transaction)
  5. Done. Change your vote anytime before close.

📋 What you're voting for

The first Steward Council in ReFi DAO's history with full distributed leadership, governance and agency. Mandate:

  • Set strategic direction · approve treasury moves · cultivate partnerships
  • Govern the ReFi DAO Commons v1 — brand · website · 3K-sub newsletter · podcast · knowledge graph · treasury · governance tools
  • Refine governance · decide on legal structure, compensation, business-model questions deferred by the v3 process

Full design: ReFi DAO v3 • Distributed Stewardship Proposal.

👥 The slate — 9 candidates

Self-nominated by Mon May 25 EOD via the Steward Interest Form. Each candidate has a profile on the one-pager Candidates section — vision · contribution history · what they bring.

Listed alphabetically in the Choices below.

⚖️ Voting rules

  • Quadratic voting (QV) — each voter has an equal voting budget to allocate across the 9 candidates. Each candidate's effective votes from you = √(credits you allocated). Spreading rewards broad trust; concentrating gets quadratically expensive.

    Example with a 100-credit budget:

    • 100 credits on 1 candidate = √100 = 10 effective votes (total: 10)
    • 25 credits each on 4 candidates = √25 = 5 effective votes each (total: 20)
    • ~11 credits each on 9 candidates ≈ √11 ≈ 3.3 each (total: ~30)

Trade-off: concentrate for intensity per candidate · spread for total influence.

  • Top 7 by total QV score seat the Council

  • Post-close community poll (Jun 10 → 12) signals whether to expand to 8 or 9 — Council seats the agreed size at formal seating Fri Jun 12

  • **No quorum · no per-candid
