Terrain Nonprofit Organization Donation Proposal

Summary

This proposal is to approve the selected nonprofit organization to be donated to by the Terrain project, which is a part of RefractionDAO’s Creative Grants S02/03 program. Terrain is a series of generative NFTs that respond to climate change. Each iteration of an artwork initiates climate-positive interventions in natural, biological environments by using automated donations to different rewilding and reforestation organizations programmed into its smart contract, selected by the Refraction Community. We propose to support a pool of Environmental Conservation Case Funds nonprofit organizations, via Crypto for Charity.

Motivation

As part of the Creative Grants program, we propose that the supported organizations should be approved through a completely transparent, open community vote. The project’s microsite is going to indicate the exact amount of donations raised through corresponding blockchain transactions.

Outcome

If ratified, the corresponding wallet addresses associated with the proposed nonprofit case funds will result in the adoption to Terrain’s smart contract on the Tezos blockchain.
