Proposal 128: Bid up to 20 ETH for any of The Broken Keys by Alpha Centauri Kid

Alpha Centauri Kid is among the greatest artists in cryptoart. I think it would be fair to consider him just one echelon below that of XCOPY, Beeple, and Fewocious. ACK is not much further behind. Recent pieces such as the stars fell into the sea and pale blue death (a color study), among others, have begun to separate ACK from the pack (if that separation didn’t exist already). The Broken Keys seems to be his most trademark set to date. The piano that takes center stage throughout is second only to the undefined “Muse” in the motifs of Alpha Centauri Kid’s work. One could say The Broken Keys, a set of fifty pieces featuring the piano, is ACK’s Campbell Soup. The artist is certainly treating it with this level of significance.

When it comes to price, despite my previous ideas, I think 20 ETH will likely be towards the top end of what we see. It would be awesome if we could get something in the 12-16 ETH range. I do think this is still a relatively large price tag to be paying though, and I’m undecided on how I’ll be voting. Still, I think this opportunity is worthy of a vote.
