Hi Reidar,

I am Matthew Suri, a 19 year old sophomore at USC’s Iovine and Young Academy (IYA). IYA is a selective program that selects 30 students each year to indulge in the interdisciplinary study of design, technology, and business. Here I have gained skills in Adobe Suite using photoshop, illustrator, after effects, and premier pro by creating posters, collages, animation, and short videos. I also have experience in some front end design and coding. As a potential member of the DAO I would love to contribute on the creative side of the community. I can work on graphics, creating animations, editing tik toks and reels, and even working on sound design for the podcast. I was also thinking about filming a docu-series of Reidar’s story of its already massive growth and what is to come.

My main interest in Web 3 is creating collaborative and creative communities. I am very excited by the concept of decentralized groups working together for a common goal/ purpose. I technically made my first investment in bitcoin in 2018 of 40$ but I began to take crypto investing seriously in the summer of 2021. My best investment was probably The Humanoids mint where I turned .1 eth to 1.4 eth, I was involved in many NFT discords and had seen that plenty of influencers had built hype around the drop. My worst investment was storing UST in the Anchor Protocol, I didn't fully understand the risks that came with holding an algorithmic stable coin. I am involved with Blockchain at USC, a club that brings industry leaders to have speaking events and also hosts discussions on web3 concepts ranging from p2e games to lending pools. My favorite artist is Virgil Abloh - I am inspired by his ability to combine functional design with aesthetics. Thank you for your time and consideration and Reidar to the moon!
