Starting an investment committee to help research potential integrations with Revault Network

#Problem statement Choosing which vault to put money in has always been difficult. There are hundreds of yield farms and vaults existing in the DeFi world, not to mention there are more and more coming out every day. APYs are becoming highly insane. Choices are dazzling. However, we are also exposing ourselves to risks more than ever. We have seen many people suffering from funds lost due to rug-pulls, hack threats, volatile rewards. And there are many death-spiral cases due to unsustainable farming. Therefore, it’s necessary to have a professional group work behind the scenes, evaluate the fundamentals of the underlying protocols, and suggest potential integration with Revault Network. The goal of the investment committee is to find the best vaults, maximize the potential returns for users while minimizing the risks.

#Proposal We propose an investment committee consisting of up to 7 people who actively consult on behalf of the community of vault selection.

Ideally, the investment committee should consist of professional members with vast experience in Defi, DAOs, etc. Committee members can give advice and insights in decentralized finance, lending, stable coins, decentralized exchange, the hottest new crypto trend, and most importantly, yield farming opportunities. Crypto KOLs, project founders, high degen scores owners, or rich experience farmers in DeFi are preferred.

#Roles & Responsibilities The investment committee should conduct due diligence on the fundamentals of the research protocols. Research should include but not be limited to the following aspects:

Fundamentals

•Market Cap(if the token has launched) •TVL and the growth trend •Historical APY and reward stability •Integrated farms •Long term success

Technical

•Code and project audit reports(Give rates on the likelihood of potential hacks) •Previous security events

Team & Community

•Project team information and their reputation •Activity on social media and community strength •Investors & Partners

Potential integration advantages/risks and suggestions are preferred in the research report.

#Compensation We propose to set up a percentage of the Revault Treasury to do this type of work. We propose that the total compensation of the Investment Committee is capped at $15K USD worth of REVA / month. The reward can fluctuate according to the contribution of the Investment committee members.

#Election & Reelection The investment committee members will be selected and nominated by the community. Proof of previous working experience might be required when checking for eligibility. At the end of every quarter, anyone in the community is allowed to call for a new election. If no election is called, members automatically remain the same.
